Kansas City Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is hosting a charity softball game on Friday, June 9 to benefit his new Humble Beginnings Foundation.
Valdes-Scantling’s teammates will join him in hosting Chiefs Kingdom at Legends Field. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. CT ahead of a “Legends Tailgate” at 5:00 p.m. featuring several Chiefs ambassadors. The main events will be a Homerun Derby (6:00 p.m.) and a seven-inning Chiefs offense vs. defense softball game (7:00 p.m.).
You can purchase tickets to the game at www.mvscharitysoftball.com. Those who purchase $150 VIP tickets will receive a signed mini helmet from Valdes-Scantling. There is also a meet-and-greet add-on package that allows fans to get their picture taken and mingle with players ahead of the home-run derby.
