Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, cornerback Tramon Williams and receiver Davante Adams all have a chance to tie or set new franchise playoff records this month, starting Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Round.
Rodgers needs three touchdown passes to tie Brett Favre (39) for the franchise lead in the postseason. He’s also 853 passing yards and 60 completions from tying Favre, who is first in both categories with 5,311 passing yards and 438 completions. Note: Favre played 22 postseason games, while Rodgers will play his 18th on Sunday.
Williams needs one interception to tie Sam Shields, who holds the team record with five postseason interceptions. Williams is currently tied for second place with Herb Adderley. Craig Newsome and Eugene Robinson. If Williams returns an interception for a touchdown, he’ll become the first player in franchise history with two postseason pick-sixes.
Williams is also tied with Clay Matthews for first in team history with three fumble recoveries.
Adams, who has two postseason games with 100 or more receiving yards, can tie Robert Brooks, Antonio Freeman and Greg Jennings, who are tied for first in team history with three. It might be a long shot, but if Adams catches 26 passes this postseason, he’ll tie leader Jordy Nelson at 54.
Rodgers can also move his way up the all-time leaderboard for postseason passer rating. He currently ranks fifth at 99.4. Bart Starr is first in NFL history at 104.8.
