Sunderland head coach Lee Johnson has made four changes from the Black Cats 1-0 defeat to Wigan Atheltic.
As expected Anthony Patterson and Dion Sanderson start in place of Lee Burge and Tom Flanagan with the Wearsiders looking for their first win in seven games.
Callum McFadzean replaces the injured Denver Hume who is set to be out until after Christmas.
Jack Diamond takes the place of Aiden McGeady who drops to the bench.
Charlie Wyke is on the bench after missing out at the weekend with a minor knee injury, while McGeady drops out of the starting XI with Johnson keen to not rush him back to full fitness.
