The in-house booking team behind some of Glasgow's most cherished and loved music venues and vegan cafe/bars have launched a new virtual festival.
Pop Mutations will see The Flying Duck, Mono and Stereo host streams from an eclectic mix of local and international artists, bands and DJs as well as talks, DIY tutorials and exhibitions - all available from your laptop, smartphone or tablet.
The music and culture festival will take place over the weekend of Fri, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, delivering a diverse programme over the three days straight.
Among the 70+ acts, artists and hosts taking part in what organisers call a "feel good weekend festival with something for everybody" include Monorail Music, Third Ear Yoga, Glasgow African Balafon Orchestra, Good Press, Green Door Studios, Hot Mess, Nightwave, Pink Noise, Molly Linen, Lunacy, Maveen and Clyde Built Radio.
As well as NOVA, Heatnavi, 12th Isle, Lady Neptune, TAAHLIAH, Romeo Taylor, Kapil Seshasayee, The Pastels Music Video Retrospective, Ribeka and VSO Henderson.
Access is free-to-all over the weekend as a not-for-profit event, with donation links provided and any moneys raised split with 60% of proceeds going to the artists, hosts, performers or their chosen charity and the remaining 40% donated to Glasgow-based charity Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER).
