Team behind Love Saves The Day announce new food and music festival for Bristol

Bristol is home to a huge array of events which appeal to people of all ages and tastes - and next year there will be one more to look forward to.

A new festival which combines delicious food with top-notch music is coming to the city, headed up by a team of organisers with serious pedigree.

Michelin-starred chef Josh Eggleton and Valley Fest founder Luke Hasell are joining forces with Team Love, the event production company behind the hugely popular Love Saves The Day and The Downs, to bring Eat Drink Bristol Fashion back in style.

Subject to licence, Eat Drink Bristol Fashion will take place between May 2 and May 3 2020 in Castle Park, building on the original festival concept which was staged in Queen Square between 2011 and 2015.

In addition to 48 hours of mouthwatering food and feasting there will be varied musical performances throughout the event from some of the city’s best-loved live acts and DJs.

Exact details of the programme and tickets will be announced in the New Year but organisers have said to expect a "proud display of Bristol’s culinary prowess from its restaurants to its communities".

Mr Eggleton said: "Eat Drink Bristol Fashion will be a festival to celebrate the rise of the incredibly diverse food culture that has taken place over the last 10 years. This festival really could only happen in Bristol.

"We believe Bristol is one of, if not the best city in the UK for food and we’re massively proud of this.

"We want to show the country what has been achieved here through collaboration, networking and community engagement.

"And that all this has been done while keeping an open mind and genuine enthusiasm for food rooted within the culture of our city, alongside the music, art and creative scene."
