Teague wants Blues to fill the 'G vs Port

Carlton coach David Teague wants Blues fans to fill the MCG for next weekend's AFL clash against Port Adelaide.

The Blues made it two wins in a row on Saturday as they outlasted Gold Coast in a scrappy 11-point win at Metricon Stadium.

Having bounced back to a 2-2 record following their defeats to Richmond and Collingwood in the first two weeks, Teague is hoping to create a hostile atmosphere for the Power for the Saturday night game.

"I can't wait to play against a great opposition in Port," Teague said of the challenge of taking on last year's minor premiers.

"I can't wait for our members and our supporters and fans to fill the 'G and make it as loud as they can and give Port a little bit of their own medicine from when we go over there."

The Blues may have to take on the Power without Jack Silvagni, who was substituted out of Saturday's win over the Suns late after re-injuring the right shoulder he dislocated in round one against the Tigers.

Silvagni actually suffered the injury making a crucial tackle on Jack Bowes in the fourth quarter, key forward Harry McKay slotting a goal from the resulting free-kick which gave the Blues a match-winning advantage.

Whether the 23-year-old will be fit to face the Power is yet to be determined, with Teague admitting he wasn't sure just how much damage Silvagni had done to the joint.

"I don't want to say the wrong thing here in terms of my understanding of it but I know the first week we thought it was going to be worse than it was," Teague said.

"Hopefully, it's something similar, but I don't know.

"I'm not sure whether this time there's been greater damage to the inside or not, I'm not sure."
