Teachers are heading out on strike on Wednesday 26 March to take action against excessive workload pressures, performance-related pay and pension changes.

Whether in support or against, we'd like to hear your story – and see what effect the strike is having on you. Perhaps you're a parent having to take a day's annual leave to look after your children – or you've been left out of pocket after having to fork out for emergency childcare. Or, if you're a teacher, tell us why you're heading into the classroom or staking it out on the picket line.

From clever banner slogans to unusually busy family attractions, share your photos, videos and stories with us. We'll include some of your contributions in our coverage of the strike.
