A primary school teacher has appeared in a Brisbane court charged with historical child sexual offences.
The 48-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged in November with three counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16, one count of rape and one count of unlawful intercourse involving a child under 12.
He appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court for the first time on Monday.
The alleged offences occurred between 1993 and 1997, according to court documents.
Police said earlier the man worked in the educational sector for decades and across Queensland.
The man's bail conditions include no unsupervised contact with children under the age of 16.
He is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court again on January 18.
