Teacher held for sending lewd messages

HYDERABAD: A 31-year-old private school teacher was arrested for harassing girl students by sending them obscene messages.

Recently, the accused started harassing a minor girl on WhatsApp using virtual phone numbers. However, she refused to talk to him and even stopped responding to his messages. “The offender held a grudge against the girl and started sending her abusive text messages and photos,” cybercrime police said.

Police arrested the accused on Tuesday and produced him before the court for judicial remand. TNN
