One of the top safety prospects in college football is making the early jump to the next level.
TCU’s Tre’von Moehrig announced via social media Saturday afternoon that he will be leaving school early to enter the 2021 NFL draft.
Moehrig is the type of safety prospect that possesses excellent range on the backend. TCU often utilized him as a single-high safety and that’s where he did his best work on the field. Moehrig also has the ball skills to be a real difference maker at the next level.
This safety class currently lacks a clear-cut leader at the top. The process remains fluid, but Moehrig may be the best safety in the 2021 NFL Draft.
