Taywan Taylor calls being traded to the Browns ‘a dream come true’

Taywan Taylor took to the practice field for the first time as a member of the Cleveland Browns on Monday. It’s safe to say he’s happy to be wearing the orange and brown instead of getting ready to face them this week with his old team, the Tennessee Titans.

“It’s a dream come true,” Taylor said in his post-practice press conference. “Just knowing I’ve got guys like Odell (Beckham) and Juice (Larvis Landry) and Rashard (Higgins), those guys bring it every day and come to work. It’s going to be an honor just to be behind those guys, just to learn and soak in that knowledge.”

The knowledge soaking is on an accelerated pace for Taylor. He projects as the team’s No. 4 wideout as soon as he can get up to speed. And it’s his own speed that elevates his status.

“I could not be any more happy to be here in Cleveland, great city, great organization, very promising,” Taylor continued. “Just to be around all these great guys, an elite receiver room, I just can not wait to get out there and just get with the guys and be able to learn. Come in, work hard and just go out there and be ready to play.”

Taylor can help provide some intel on the Titans, but it seems he’s more focused on figuring out how he can help the Browns on the field.
