Tayto puts Bacon and Cabbage and Irish Beef Stew flavours of crisps on sale

Tayto has added two possibly controversial new flavours to their arsenal.

Bacon and Cabbage and Irish Beef Stew went on sale across Ireland today and, as expected, opinion has been divided.

Tayto is known for producing limited edition crisps in some off-the-wall flavours, including Curry Chips, Spicebag and Hot Wings, as well as the questionable limited edition chocolate bar.

It seems both flavours are available from shops across the country as several stores have posted photographs of the new display advertising the limited edition crisps.

One Twitter user was quick to flag their disgust, saying: “Disgusting, these are a hard pass from me.”

But others were more intrigued, with some even going as far as saying they’d fly back to Ireland for them.

One poster said: “Is there anything anywhere as Irish as Tayto Bacon and Cabbage crisps?”

Another added: “Bacon and cabbage is my favourite dinner, would legit fly to Ireland for these.”
