You can now get up close and mingle with cute ring-tailed lemurs at Tayto Park.
Lemur Woods, which is the latest addition to the theme park and zoo, will allow you to see first-hand the endangered species with their new walk-through enclosure.
Set in a large habitat in a natural woodland in Ashbourne, Co Meath, the immersive new Lemur Woods gives visitors a dynamic experience by allowing them to see and learn all about these fascinating and lovable primates closer than ever before.
Ring-tailed lemurs are the sixth species of primate to join the zoo at Tayto Park.
From Madagascar, the very sociable creature is known for its distinguishing long, thick, tail with black and white rings.

They live in groups known as troops and the Tayto Park troop is made up of 15 young individuals who are part of the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme.
Tayto Park’s Zoo Manager, Lee Donohoe said: “We’re delighted to welcome lemurs to the zoo.
“Adding new species to our collection is always an exciting time but even more so when they have such conservation importance.

Meanwhile, Tayto Park has announced limited edition family tickets for Tayto Park FunFest which is taking place on June 29 and 30.
Families can now avail of limited edition family tickets choosing from a discounted family ticket of two entries, €90, to a family of six entries, €270.
