Tayto Park FunFest: How to get there, who is performing, and where can I buy the tickets?

The first ever Tayto Park FunFest is set to take place this weekend.

Guests will have the chance to watch a host of entertainers from the worlds of music, circus, family entertainment, dance and art as they come together for the big event.

Here we bring you all your need to know about the Tayto Park FunFest.

When and where is the Tayto Park FunFest happening?

The events are happening over the course of two days - Saturday and Sunday - at the Ashbourne theme park.

The festival will run from 10 am to 9.30 pm.

What are some of the events happening?

Nathan Carter, Atomic Kitten, Rak-Su, The Blizzards, Key West, and Liberty X are amongst the well-known faces set to perform at this year’s Tayto Park Funfest.

The summer festival bonanza will include puppet shows, street food stalls, juggling shows, workshops, masterclasses, spectacular shows, theatre, and comedy.

What should I bring with me?

Tickets! Have you got your booking reference screen-shotted to your phone or printed?

Sunglasses, sunhats & sun cream! There’s a heatwave coming this weekend!

Light raincoats (It is Ireland after all!)

Suitable footwear. You want to enjoy all the attractions but also that you have your dancing shoes on!

What am I not allowed to bring?

Entrants found to be in possession of prohibited items will be refused entry and/or escorted from Tayto Park.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to alcohol, knives, weapons, blades fireworks, illegal substances, glass bottles, flammable liquids, portable BBQs, and any other items that may cause injury.

Skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates, bikes, scooters, trikes and carriages and other forms of personal transport are prohibited from Tayto Park.

Where can I get the tickets?

Tayto Park FunFest tickets can now be purchased on arrival during the festival weekend. Festival goers can avail of tickets on arrival for €50 per entry or receive a further reduction and purchase online for €45 per entry. 

How do I get there?

By Bus:

103 Bus Eireann-  Dublin City Centre- Tayto Park via Ashbourne & Ratoath

105 Bus Eireann- Blanchardstown- Tayto Park via Ashbourne & Ratoath

By Car:

From Dublin:

Take the M2 towards Ashbourne (exit 5 on the M50 signposted 'Derry/Slane').

Once on the M2 continue to the very end of the motorway until you come to a roundabout. Take the first exit onto the N2 signposted 'Slane'.

Continue on the N2 for 3.8km before turning left onto the R155 to Curragha (signposted 'Dunshaughlin/Ratoath').

Follow this road until it brings you to a roundabout at the entrance to Tayto Park.

Tayto Park has free parking available for all visitors. Car park attendants will direct you to the best suitable carpark for your group.

Accessible parking is available. Standard conditions apply and a European Parking Card or Disabled Parking Badge must be displayed.
