Tayto confirms Banshee Bones crisps are back for good after successful trial

Good news for those of you that grew up in Ireland in the 90s and 00s and want to relive your childhood, because Banshee Bones are back for good.

There was a huge demand for the popular crisps when Tayto brought them back for a limited time in 2020, with shelves being emptied of boxes and packets in pretty much every supermarket.

Such was the support and want for the salt and vinegar snacks that Tayto have now confirmed they'll make a return for good from this month.

A spokesperson for Tayto, who may or may not be Mr Tayto, told the Irish Mirror: "Mr. Tayto is delighted to announce the permanent addition of Banshee Bones to stores nationwide from August.

"After a hugely successful limited edition launch in 2020, Mr. Tayto is giving the people what they want and making Banshee Bones a permanent part of the Tayto family. The iconic salt and vinegar flavour snacks have gained cult status among crisp lovers, with the spooky themed treats bringing back nostalgic memories for fans of the brand.

Banshee Bones will be available in single packs all year and multipacks around Halloween (Tayto Ireland)

"Not just to be enjoyed at Hallwe’en, Banshee Bones can now be savoured 365 days a year. Tayto Banshee Bones are available in a 42g single bag throughout the year and for a limited time as a multipack for Hallowe’en.

"Spread the good news, Banshee Bones are now a permanent part of the Tayto family!"
