It seemed like everything was going exactly how it was expected in New Orleans with Drew Brees out as quarterback of the Saints due to injury: Jameis Winston would step in, with Taysom Hill sprinkled in as usual with his variety of plays as a sometimes running back, tight end or option QB.
But on Friday morning, it all changed. Per reports from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it’s Hill who will get the start and Winston who will back him up and — according to Schefter — “not be part of any offensive packages” against the Atlanta Falcons.
