Taylor Swift supports boyfriend Joe Alwyn with secret premiere appearance

Taylor Swift made a low-key appearance at the London premiere of Mary, Queen of Scots to support actor boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

The singer, 28, was spotted at the premiere at Cineworld Leicester and was photographed attending the after party by Alwyn’s co-star, Izuka Hoyle.

Hoyle shared a photo of Swift drinking wine and chatting with fellow guests at the event on Instagram Stories. She captioned the image: “Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone,” quoting lyrics from one of Swift’s biggest hits, Love Story.

The couple, who are thought to have started dating in 2016, have tried to keep their relationship out of the public eye. In September, they were also pictured attending the premiere and after party for another of Alwyn’s films, The Favourite, in both New York and Los Angeles.

When asked whether he has sought advice about dating an A-lister from friends or co-stars, Alwyn told Esquire that he has “a clear line” when it comes to sharing details of his personal life.

“I didn’t seek out advice on that because I know what I feel about it,” he said.

“I think there’s a very clear line as to what somebody should share, or feel like they have to share, and what they don’t want to and shouldn’t have to.”

Speaking to Vogue in September, Alwyn acknowledged fans’ interest in his famous girlfriend while reiterating this desire for privacy. “I’m aware people want to know about that side of things. I think we have been successfully very private and that has now sunk in for people,” he told the magazine. “I really prefer to talk about work.”
