Taylor Swift's 'secret marriage' rumours grow as Joe Alwyn's family refuse to deny it

Taylor Swift fans are convinced she's secretly married Joe Alwyn - and now his family have refused to deny the rumours.

On Thursday, the 30-year-old revealed she was about to release her latest album evermore, her second this year after this summer's smash hit record folklore.

And lyrics on some of the new album's songs, on top of cryptic clues from Taylor, have led fans to think she and Joe have tied the knot.

When asked by the MailOnline if Taylor had married Joe, 29, his family said: "I'm sorry, I'm not going to say anything."

Taylor and Joe have been together since 2016 and he co-wrote a song on her last album.

She is yet to comment on the rumours.

The Shake It Off singer promoted the video of her new song Willow by posting a picture of herself in a white dress, which some were convinced was a wedding dress.

When the video dropped this morning it actually transpired to just be a white dress she wore in the video while performing for a crowd.

But since the album came out on Friday, fans have spotted references to marriage in the lyrics of some of the songs.

In the track Ivy, she sings: "So tell me to run/Or dare to sit and watch what we'll become/And drink my husband's wine."

One fan tweeted: "'.and drink my husband’s wine' -Taylor Swift 2020 THEY ARE F**KING MARRIED BYE."

"Not @taylorswift13 announcing she's married via new music," another posted.

A third wrote: "So wait is Taylor Swift married did we all agree on that after Willow?"

"I'm convincing myself that Taylor Swift is either married or engaged," another posted.

Mirror Online has contacted reps for Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn for comment.
