Their release date puts the rivals in direct competition with each other.
Taylor could end Kanye's flawless track record of nine consecutive albums at the number one spot in the US charts.
Currently the rapper has been tied with Eminem.
In March this year, Taylor and Kanye were in an explosive clash once again - just months later she chose to release her music on the same day as his.
All of the 25 minute conversation was leaked to reveal Kim Kardashian and Kanye had "manipulated" footage which made Taylor seem like she had agreed to the infamous Famous lyrics.
It turned out Kim had snaked Taylor in releasing a small snippet of the conversation prior to the big reveal earlier this year.
Taylor and Kanye's row goes back to when he invaded the stage while she was picking up an award at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.
Now all these years later, she's releasing her album on the same day as Kanye.
Taylor has packaged 16 different version of the album with a list of 17 songs to ensure it's a hit with her fans.
A music insider told The Sun : "She has fans majorly excited. Millions will be listening to this album from the second it's released at 5am.
"It will be one of the biggest albums of the year, so Kanye doesn't really stand a chance. yesterday he was considering delaying his release because he knows it will be embarrassing if Taylor beats him."
Taylor lifted the lid on why she was dropping her surprise album when she shared a series of candid Instagram posts ahead of the release date.
The blonde bombshell claimed it was her "gut" which spurred her on to release the album at this time.
She said: "Before this year I probably would've overthought when to release this music at the 'perfect' time.
"But the times we're living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed. My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, just put it out into the world."
