Taylor Swift ridiculed online after 'shimmying her cat boobs' in Cats trailer

Taylor Swift fans have taken en masse to Twitter with one thing on their mind - her "cat boobs."

In the latest trailer for the film adaptation of the classic musical Cats, Taylor's taking a break from the music and making a rare foray into the silver screen with Bombalurina - a character who already has fans divided.

Cats drew mixed reactions with its first trailer, with a bunch of fans concerned by the "creepy" CGI.

Now, they've found some new material as the most recent sneak peak shows Taylor's cat shaking her boobs.

"I must say," a disgruntled fan wrote, "@taylorswift13 shimmying her cat boobs is one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen, and I've seen all the Saws. #CatsMovie."

Another fancied themselves a biologist, pointing out that "cats don't have real human boobs."

They added: "Every time I see the trailer for Cats I am upset by their real human boobs. Like, please, stop shimmying Taylor Swift cat, you're scaring me."

A third penned: "The #CatsMovie second trailer doesn't put my mind at ease. Cats don't have boobs...why did they give them boobs? I shouldn't be attracted to cats."

A fourth laughed: "Watching the new #CatsMovie trailer and holy smokes why did Taylor Swift just jiggle her cat boobs to camera? Have the producers seen a female cat IRL?"

She's not the only big name to grace the flick, as she's joined by James Corden, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ian McKellen, Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson and Ray Winstone.

She's also not the only musician making an appearance as Jennifer Hudson and Jason Derulo are also on the cast list.

The star-studded bunch won't be hitting cinemas until 20th December, so currently, fans have to make do with the two trailers.

Fans still reckon the latest offering is as creepy as the first though.

One insisted: "The new trailer for the #CatsMovie isn't so bad if you close your eyes."

Another screamed: "WHY DO THEY ALL HAVE HANDS AND FEET #CatsMovie."

Still, the cast are solid believers in what they've made, with Idris gushing: "This is a moment for you to step into a world that's completely designed to entertain you."

"The music is so timeless," Taylor said of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's score, while James said that there's "nothing else like it."

Neither trailer gives away all that much about the plot, or how heavily it will follow Andrew's source material, but a synopsis tells us: "Over the course of a single night, a tribe of cats called Jellicles make what is known as the 'Jellicle choice' and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life."
