Taylor Swift is reportedly "happier than ever" and feeling like a "blissed-out wife" after marrying Travis Kelce
The pop superstar tied the knot with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3 in front of 1,000 guests and the pair are believed to have been enjoying some time off together after their big day before Travis gets back to training for the new NFL season.
A new report suggests their low-key honeymoon period has been "blissful" for the singer. A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Taylor said she was happier than ever now that she is Mrs Kelce and says their married life has been blissful so far.
"She is a blissed-out wife who is focusing on the simple things in life."
The insider added Taylor has been focusing on relaxing with her husband, cooking and spending time with her cats and the couple's new dog.
They said: "She has been spending her days lazing about as she cooks dinner and bakes bread for her new husband - she has become quite the chef and is trying a lot of Italian dishes and learning Italian at the same time, little bits, and drinking white wine ...
"'She has also been with her cats and Travis' dog, they love their fur children, and are nesting with them. She said they all get along because they got the dog as a tiny puppy and the cats took to the dog, so no fights."
The source added the couple has also been hitting the gym during their time off, focusing on "power walks, swimming and weight lifting" while Travis has also been indulging his love of golf.
They also claimed Taylor has been busy writing thank you cards to all the wedding guests who gave the couple gifts, telling the publication: "She hand-wrote thank you cards to the wedding guests who gave her and Travis gifts. It was a sweet, old-fashioned gesture."
It comes after Taylor's pal Maren Morris opened up about the couple's wedding day, telling People magazine: "It just felt like you really got a closer look into their love for each other and their sense of humour.
"Being one of 1,000 people that witnessed that, it was an honour. [The best part was] just celebrating their love for each other".
While the wedding was arguably the most highly-anticipated of the last century, details have remained scarce due to a strict no-phone policy and non disclosure agreements (NDAs).
However, sources have revealed that Taylor and Travis’ vows were “about 20 minutes each”.
The guest list was a who’s who of the showbiz world, with stars including Sir Paul McCartney, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran and Gigi Hadid all in attendance.
While Maren enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people at the nuptials, she also relished the chance to reconnect with old friends she “hadn’t seen in a long time”.
She said: “I feel like my neck hurt by the end of the night because I just kept turning my head around seeing people I never thought I’d see before in person.
"It’s always an honour, and it’s inspiring when you go to a wedding and you feel this huge dose of hope for love. I think we all felt it that night for them. “It was really fun."
