Taylor Swift flinches as fans throw objects following Eras Tour concert as bizarre trend continues

Taylor Swift fans have shared their fury after footage emerged of concertgoers throwing objects at the Grammy winner following one of her Las Vegas shows.

A worrying phenomenon has sprung up of late as pop stars have been on the receiving end of items being chucked at them while performing.

Recently, Harry Styles was hit in the face during his Vienna gig then Bebe Rexha was left needing stitches after a mobile phone hit her.

A few days later, singer Ava Max was slapped by stage invader during a show in Los Angeles, while US country singer Kelsea Ballerini was also hit in the face by a bracelet that a fan threw during a recent performance in Idaho.

Last week, Adele spoke out against the recent number of incidents, telling her audience she would “kill you” if they tried.

And now the Cruel Summer hitmaker has become the latest victim after fans threw something at her, which was claimed to have been bracelets, while Swift returned to her dressing room.

In footage that has been widely shared on TikTok, the 33-year-old is seen flanked by security guards as she walks down a gangway after coming off the stage on her Eras tour.

Concertgoers can be heard shouting to her from above before throwing the items her way while the star is left cowering.

The video has since been reshared on Twitter, where Swifties have shared their frustrations about the exchange amid the spate of recent throwing incidents.

One fan tweeted: “Y’all are idiots… it’s not cute or cool. U could of been normal and shouted her name gesturing the bracelet but u wanna hit her? fans aren’t really fans these days [sic].”

“STOP THROWING THINGS AT PERFORMERS. Are you out of your mind? What’s wrong with you?” another wrote.

A third penned: “How many times do we need to have this conversation?”

Meanwhile, a Swiftie pointed out that artists might end up being deterred from going on tour if people continue to throw objects at them.

They wrote: “Since that #BebeRexhar incident these concerts are never been the same. Throwing things at celebs has become a Nasty Trend. I mean What on earth is wrong with this morons?

“Why would you do that. Before attending to the concerts please go & double check your brains probably.”
