Taylor Swift finally speaks out on Kanye West call leak that 'put her through hell'

Taylor Swift has broken her silence on the leak of the full call she shared with Kanye West about his track Famous.

The Lover singer, 30, said the original leak was edited and put her and her family through "hell".

Last week a video of Kanye speaking to Taylor about the song's lyrics on the phone leaked, showing that he never did tell her he'd be calling her a "b***h" after all.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Taylor said the call had been proven to be "manipulated" but she didn't want to say too much.

She said: "Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call*.

"(You know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years).

"Swipe up to see what really matters."

Taylor then added a link to charity Feeding America.

She then asked her fans to donate to that charity as well as The World Health Organisation.

Taylor added: "If you have the ability to, please join me in donating during the crisis."

Taylor, Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian were embroiled in a feud when the couple claimed she agreed to be called a 'b***h' in his song Famous and said that he is the reason she is a household name.

Taylor denied ever approving the song so Kim leaked footage of the pair talking on the phone showing her enthusiastically agreeing to be featured.

However, Taylor always denied that she'd been told she'd be referred to as a 'b***h'.

Hitting back on Instagram at the time, she wrote: "You don't get to control someone's emotional response to being called 'that bitch' in front of the entire world.

"He promised to play the song for me, but he never did."

It was enough for Kim's fans to brand Taylor a 'snake' and saw the pop star fall from grace.

It has now come to light that the Kardashian-Wests did not tell the whole truth as the full 25 minute conversation between Swift and West has been leaked online, showing that Kanye never mentioned that he would call her a 'b***h'.
