Taylor Swift fans 'losing their minds' from waiting lists and ticket sale change

Taylor Swift fans have expressed their confusion and stress after announcements were made about waiting lists and changes to ticket sales.

Initially fans were told that they would receive an email yesterday (July 5) informing them whether they would be receiving a presale access code to give them priority in ticket sales. But this did not happen for many fans who had registered with Ticketmaster and have been successful in their presale, although they are being sent out now.

Fans were delighted but puzzled after Taylor announced 14 extra shows including an additional performance at Anfield due to high demand. Changes were subsequently made to the timings of ticket sales, with sales for the Liverpool shows moved from July 20 to July 18.

This added to an already stressful day for Swifites. One fan on Twitter said: “Has anyone else just had the most confusing email from @TicketmasterUK.”

Another fan said: “I'm in the Ticketmaster waiting list for Taylor Swift tickets, so I can try and get a couple for my daughter. She's beyond excitement and anticipation. No email yet.

“Suddenly an email arrives. It's an extra date. Excitement increases.”

A third said: “So I might not even get an email today confirming if I have got a code?? I'm going to lose my mind over these Taylor Swift tickets.”

Others who discovered they were on the waiting list were understandably disappointed. One said: “No luck currently on the waiting list. Kudos to those who managed to snatch the tickets! Being in the queue itself was nerve wracking.”

Another said: “I got put on the waiting list for Taylor Swift tickets and this feels like the worst rejection ever.” A third fan added: “I’m on the waiting list for taylor swift tickets, I’m gonna cry I just want even a chance to buy tickets.”
