All the talk about Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood video concerned the celebrity cameos, rather than the clothes. But the LA sex shop that supplied the fetish outfits used in the clip could stand to gain, after telling the New York Post it intends to make a “full run” of the outfits worn by Swift and Selena Gomez.

Swift’s team borrowed $13,000 worth of clothes from The Stockroom a month ago, including a flesh-coloured latex dress worn by Swift that retails at $235, and a $360 latex blouse sported by Gomez. Swift’s basque was made by a company called Syren, which has also produced costumes for films including Batman, Catwoman and Mr and Mrs Smith. Customers who buy it are recommended to also “try our Pjur Bodyglide Lubricant, the best way to slip into your latex and give your wearables that sexy high gloss finish!”

The Stockroom’s director of operations, Shawn Gentry, told the Post the clothes were picked up by someone acting for a secret client around a month ago. They did not take any of the shop’s extensive range of sex toys. Swift’s team ended up keeping $5,000 worth of gear.

The Post reported that the shop has seen an increase in online traffic and phone enquiries since the Bad Blood video was launched earlier this week. At the time of writing it has clocked up 43.3m YouTube views.
