Taylor Swift at Glastonbury Festival 2020: Star talks about being a 'headliner'

Whether you love her or not, there's no denying Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

And it looks like the American singer-songwriter could be making a stop at Worthy Farm this year, if she gets her way.

Organisers are sure to be working on a stellar likeup for the 2020 festival, as it celebrates its 50th year.

Already the legend that is Diana Ross has been confirmed for the coveted Sunday afternoon 'legends' slot and other rumours include the likes of Paul McCartney and Biffy Clyro.

Taylor Swift has been the bookies' favourite to headline for a while now, and a post on Instagram and Twitter has now got people thinking they could just be right.

She wrote: "I said in an interview 13 years ago, "I'm just hoping that I have a second album that does as well as the first & someday get to be a headliner, always be the same person that I started out as.

"Scrolling through your posts has me feeling all the feelings & I want to thank you."

Although referring to her infamously passionate fans, she could also have been hinting at the possibility that she'll be appearing as one of the festival's three headliners.
