Taylor Swift has announced that her record-shattering Eras Tour is getting the full documentary treatment with a six-part series The End Of An Era set to premiere on Disney+ this winter.
The news comes alongside confirmation of an updated concert film titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The Final Show, arriving more than a week after the release of her chart-topping 12th studio album The Life Of A Showgirl.
In a teaser shared to Instagram, the 35-year-old pop icon appears backstage during her globe-spanning tour, reflecting on its impact and the hard work behind its success.
“People like to talk about phenomenons, almost as if it was pieces falling into place, as if it just happened,” Swift says in the clip. “The Eras Tour wasn’t when all the pieces fell into place. This tour was when every single one of us who had done so much work clicked together. We have broken every single record you can break with this tour. The only thing left is to close the book.”
The trailer also features appearances from fellow artists Ed Sheeran, Sabrina Carpenter, Florence Welch and Gracie Abrams.
Sharing the clip online, Swift wrote: “It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down — and to film the final show in its entirety.”

The End Of An Era was first revealed on Good Morning America, the same programme where Swift originally announced her tour in November 2022.
The Eras Tour itself became a global phenomenon, grossing around $2 billion and making Swift the first solo artist to headline London’s Wembley Stadium eight times on a single tour.
Her latest album The Life Of A Showgirl debuted at number one last week — her third UK chart-topper of 2025 — following Lover (Live From Paris) in February and The Tortured Poets Department in April.
The first two episodes of The End Of An Era, along with The Final Show, will debut on Disney+ on December 12, the day before Swift’s 36th birthday.
