Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Are Engaged! Everything We Know About The Moment So Far

Bring out the trumpets, the confetti and the crowds because the time has finally come. Our ultimate showgirl, Taylor Swift, and her footy-playing boyfriend, Travis Kelce, are officially engaged!

The pair announced their ring-binding union in an Instagram post early Wednesday morning (local time). In a joint post, the happy couple shared a bunch of glorious pics from the proposal, which took place in a lush garden filled to the brim with white and pink flowers.

They captioned the post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.”

The Eras Tour queen and Kansas City Chiefs player look absolutely besotted with each other, nestled between the gorgeous greenery of the garden. In one pic, Travis is snapped down on one knee, with Taylor embracing his face as if she’s saying “yes, oh my god yes”.

Obviously, I’m filling in some blanks here but you get the idea. (And if you want all the tea, Travis’ dad Ed Kelce already gave an Aussie radio station the run-down on how the proposal happened.)

Thankfully, they must have had multiple or one very zoomy photographer who snapped some other angles of the freshly betrothed couple.

While the proposal itself seems perfect and straight out of a movie, the showstopping ring takes the special moment to a whole new level.

I’m no expert, but it looks like a radiant cut diamond with two little triangle side stones on either side. Set in yellow gold with a detailed engraved band, it looks perfect for our “Enchanted” princess.

While Taylor and Travis have only just announced the news, the post is currently sitting at 17.4 million likes. And thankfully for Travis, the Swifties have welcomed Travis as their new daddy with open arms.

After years of writing about love stories, fairytales and the pursuit of something everlasting, it’s so beautiful to see that she’s found the love — and had the proposal — of her dreams.
