Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are not back together despite reconciliation reports

Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have not rekindled their whirlwind relationship despite reports suggesting otherwise.

The US singer, 33, and 34-year-old British frontman of band The 1975 hit headlines in May when it was revealed that they were an item.

Aside from Healy’s wildman image, the union was particularly surprising as it came shortly after Swift split from her boyfriend of six years, actor Joe Alwyn.

Despite the media storm and claims from insiders that they were so in love, the relationship was short-lived and all over by May.

On Wednesday, the internet was rife with whispers that Swift and Healy was back on, but that has been quickly quashed by insiders.

According to them, not only is Swift very much enjoying being single, she and Healy don’t even speak.

A source close to Swift told MailOnline: “They are absolutely not together and aren’t even in contact any more.

“She’s enjoying being single and has been spending time in the studio and hanging out with friends in New York. This is all rubbish.”

Meanwhile, Swift is currently gearing up to bring her Eras Tour to the UK and Europe next year and has just added an additional 14 dates.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker will play six dates at London’s Wembley Arena next June and July.

One of her newly announced dates in Dublin however appears to dash hopes that she could be a Glastonbury 2024 headliner.
