Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato call time on their feud after Scooter Braun row

Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift have ended their feud after falling out over music mogul Scooter Braun.

The singers disagreed after Swift, 29, lashed out at Braun, 38, for acquiring her old record label – Big Machine – and taking ownership of her masters in July.

But the pair have now put aside their differences and showed their love for one another on Instagram.

Lovato, 27, wrote on the social networking site: “Life is too short for women not to support other women. “Especially when women release great music. Great job [Taylor].”

Swift responded: “This is so awesome and put the biggest smile on my face. Thank you [Demi]” followed by love heart and cat emojis.

It comes after Swift released her latest album, Lover, two weeks ago.

Earlier this summer, Swift accused Braun of “bullying” her and described his takeover as her “worst case scenario” in a heated blog post.

Lovato later defended Braun – her manager – by writing on Instagram: “I have dealt with bad people in the industry and Scooter is not one of them. He’s a good man.

Feud over: Taylor and Demi posted heartfelt messages to each other on Instagram (@TaylorSwift)

“Personally, I’m grateful he came into my life when he did. Please stop ‘dragging’ people or bullying them. There’s enough hate in this world as it is.”

Referring to a backlash from fans, she added: “Y’all can come after me all you want but I’m always going to stay loyal to my team.”

The pair have previously been plagued with rumours they fell out after Swift became close friends with Selena Gomez, 27, in 2010.

And in 2016, Lovato was criticised by Swift’s fans for saying people in "any sort of squad" do not have “normal bodies,” which some readers saw as a reference to Swift's friendship group, in an interview with Glamour magazine.

Lovato later stated that her comments were taken out of context.
