Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny have been crowned the most-streamed artists of all time on Spotify, nearly two decades after the platform’s inception.
Taylor Swift has been named the top artist on the "Spotify At 20: The Most Streamed Music, Podcasts, and Audiobooks Of All Time" list. This recognition follows a momentous year for the singer, which included the release of her 12th studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl. The album not only topped the UK charts but was also declared the best-selling global album of 2025 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
This 2025 release marked her first since announcing her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce in August, a year that also saw her regain control of her back catalogue in May.
Her single “Opalite”, reportedly inspired by Kelce, also saw its music video released earlier this year, soaring to number one on the UK singles chart. The accompanying video featured cameos from her fellow guests on The Graham Norton Show, including the host himself, Cillian Murphy, Lewis Capaldi, and Domhnall Gleeson.

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, also secured a top spot, leading the most-streamed albums of all time list with his 2022 record Un Verano Sin Ti.
He enjoyed a triumphant year, exploding onto the international scene with his sixth studio album, Debi Tirar Mas Fotos. He made history at the Grammys as the first artist to win album of the year for a record sung entirely in Spanish, and subsequently headlined the Super Bowl half-time show, which became the fourth most-watched performance in the United States.
Following these two titans, The Weeknd, known as Abel Tesfaye, ranked as the third most-streamed artist, Canadian rapper Drake was fourth, with pop superstar and Wicked actress Ariana Grande securing the fifth position.
The Weeknd also dominated the most-streamed albums list, featuring three times with Starboy at number two, After Hours at number five, and Beauty Behind the Madness at number 20. Ed Sheeran’s Divide Deluxe album completed the top five at number three, while Olivia Rodrigo’s debut studio album Sour placed fourth.

In the realm of singles, The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” topped Spotify’s most-streamed songs of all time, followed by his collaboration with Daft Punk, “Starboy”, at number four. Other notable entries in the top five included Ed Sheeran’s 2017 hit “Shape Of You” at number two, The Neighbourhood’s 2012 track “Sweater Weather” at number three, and Harry Styles’s 2022 song “As It Was”.
Beyond music, The Joe Rogan Experience was named the most-streamed podcast of all time, while Sarah J Maas’s romantasy novel A Court of Thorns and Roses became Spotify’s most-streamed audiobook in premium.
