Reaching the top of the Billboard Hot 100 is a significant achievement for any artist, but some have managed to do it multiple times, solidifying their status as music legends. Over the years, a select group of artists have amassed an impressive number of No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.

Icons like Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, and Madonna have all achieved the remarkable feat of securing more than ten No. 1 hits each. Recent additions to this exclusive club include Rihanna, Drake, and Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift recently joined the elite group of artists with double-digit No. 1 hits, with her song “Cruel Summer” reaching the top spot in 2023. She further solidified her position with “Is It Over Now (Taylor’s Version)” from her rerecorded album, tying Whitney Houston with 11 No. 1 hits.

Mariah Carey, known as the queen of the 1990s, dominated the charts with eleven No. 1 hits, including timeless classics like “Hero” and “We Belong Together.” Rihanna, the chart-topping sensation, achieved her first No. 1 hit with “SOS” and continued her winning streak with hits like “Umbrella” and “We Found Love.”

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, left an indelible mark on the music industry with his chart-topping hits like “Billie Jean” and “Black or White.” Drake, the Canadian superstar, has also made his mark on the Billboard Hot 100 with over a dozen No. 1 hits, including “God’s Plan” and “In My Feelings.”

Madonna, the Queen of Pop, has had a stellar career with twelve No. 1 hits, starting with “Like a Virgin” in 1984. The Supremes, Motown’s finest, secured a dozen No. 1 hits during the 1960s, including classics like “Baby Love” and “Stop! In the Name Of Love.”

Whitney Houston, with eleven No. 1 hits, captivated audiences with songs like “I Will Always Love You” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” Stevie Wonder, the musical genius, achieved ten No. 1 hits, including favorites like “Superstition” and “I Just Called to Say I Love You.”
