Taylor Moore completes Hearts medical ahead of Bristol City switch with more arrivals expected

Taylor Moore has undergone his Hearts medical ahead of joining the club on loan.

The Bristol City defender is in Edinburgh putting the final touches on his loan move to Tynecastle.

And Edinburgh Live Sport can reveal that the centre back has completed his medical this morning.

Robbie Neilson has been keen to add another central defender to his squad to provide more competition for John Souttar, Craig Halkett and Stephen Kingsley.

He said yesterday that he was hopeful of getting a deal done before tomorrow’s Premiership clash with Dundee United, but if not then a new face would definitely be arriving before the end of the transfer window.

But it now looks as if Moore’s signing could be done ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Tannadice, although whether he will be part of the squad after joining up with his new teammates so late in the week remains to be seen.

Fellow new signing Ben Woodburn is in line for his Hearts debut however, with the on loan Liverpool forward fit and available after signing on a season-long loan earlier this week.

Nelson still wants to bring in another attacking player as well as a third choice goalkeeper as back up to Craig Gordon and Ross Stewart.
