Taunoa-Brown cops three NRL game ban

Jamayne Taunoa-Brown (l) will be available for selection again in round six after being suspended. (AAP)

Warriors prop Jamayne Taunoa-Brown will miss the next three NRL rounds for his crusher tackle while four other players accepted two-game bans after being charged during round two.

Canterbury winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Storm forward Felise Kaufusi, North Queensland's Kyle Feldt and Newcastle's Phoenix Crossland are all on the sidelines for the next two matches after entering early guilty pleas.

Taunoa-Brown was looking at a month-long suspension for his tackle on Newcastle's Hymel Hunt if he fought the charge and lost at the judiciary.

New Zealand Test captain Watene-Zelezniak was sin-binned in Saturday's 28-0 loss to Penrith for a head-high tackle on Nathan Cleary.

Queensland Origin forward Kaufusi was handed a grade-two dangerous contact charge on Thursday after his elbow pushed down on the head of Parramatta's Ryan Matterson as he fell in a tackle.

Feldt also faced a grade-two charge for a dangerous throw after up-ending St George Illawarra centre Jack Bird in the Cowboy's 25-18 defeat.

Knights half Crossland was hit with a grade-two charge for his second-minute crusher tackle on David Fusitu'a.

His Newcastle teammate Tyson Frizell and Melbourne prop Christian Welch (grade one dangerous contact) both accepted fines.
