Tattoo enthusiast 'villainized' for 'demon' look shares sweet wedding picture

A tattoo enthusiast who has spent more than £38,400 ( $50,000) on his "demonic" body art has tied the knot - after his family prayed for him to get help.

Soren Lorenson – who calls himself the Neon Demon – has more than 200 tattoos and works as the assistant manager of a pizza restaurant, as the Daily Star reports.

Now, the 28-year-old has announced that he is married, just after sharing the news that his family have been praying for him to get help and disowned him due to his extreme body art.

Even though his family don't talk to him anymore, Soren said he has never been happier and his followers on social media have been very supportive - calling him and his partner the 'dopest couple'.

What do you think about Soren's extreme inking? Let us know in the comments...

Sharing a photo with his new bride to his thousands of Instagram followers, Neon Demon wrote: “I’m in love, I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it.”

One fan replied: “Dopest couple on IG.”

Another said under a different photo: “Your beautiful boy turned into a married man. [He] is the best and he deserves the world all his true fans love him. The best couple of Instagram.”

His wife, Kailey, shared her own pic with the caption: “My handsome husband.”

Soren confirmed the heartwarming news while the happy couple shared loved up photos online.

He wore a black hoodie with the words ‘humans are garbage’ on the wedding day while his bride rocked a black dress.

The body modification enthusiast got his first tattoo aged 18 – and is now covered head to toe in demonic inspired ink.

But he went to further extremes after blacking out his eyeballs recently.

Afterwards he said: “It was a very positive experience and I have wanted to do it for many many years.

“I'm very happy with who I see when I look in the mirror now. Ever since I was a child, I've always drawn characters with black eyes and eyes without pupils.

“I got it done for myself because I've wanted it my whole life and I knew that I would be happier seeing myself this way...

“The reactions have actually been the same as always, yet works surprisingly well as a social icebreaker and a good conversation starter.

“So in that sense the eyes assist in making me even more approachable and easier to talk to.”

Despite some inevitable trolling, Neon Demon explained why his ink is important to who he is.

He said: “Tattooing to me is an important act of creative expression that allows me to feel like myself and through the years it has also helped me learn to better love myself for who I am.”

Soren went on: “Everyone is going through their own journey and life can be long and hard. Be kind and open-minded.

“Just because you may not approve, doesn't mean that person can turn back time or will just stop existing.

“People tell me I've ruined my life, but what should one reply to that?

“We may only move forward and try to live our lives the best we can, finding joy where we can and spreading love.

“I am happy with myself, who I am inside and out. Show love to others and love yourself.”
