We've all spelt a word or two wrong in our lifetimes, but usually, it's pretty easy to rectify by either re-typing it or crossing it out and trying again if it was done with pen and paper.
But what happens if you make a spelling mistake on something more permanent?
That's the conundrum one tattoo artist faced when she realised she'd made a massive error when inking a simple two-word phrase onto a client's ribs, and had to think on her feet to fix the tattoo and keep the customer happy.
Emily McCollum, 20, was tattooing the words "divine feminine" when her dyslexia got the better of her and she noticed she'd actually written "femimne" instead.

And rather than leave her client with misspelt ink, Emily decided to fix the mistake by inking a red rose behind the part of the word she had spelt wrong - covering up the error and adding an extra touch to the tattoo.
In a video shared to TikTok on Emily's @emilyamccollum account, the artist recorded a voice asking herself: "Emily, why did you put a rose there?"
To which she then responded: "Because I'm dyslexic and spelt 'femimne' instead of feminine."
And in the caption of the video, Emily, from the US, declared she has tried to "avoid word tattoos" ever since she made the mistake so that no one else suffers the same fate with their inkings.

Commenters on the video, however, have praised the artist for her quick thinking, as many of them said she was able to save the tattoo and stop her client from regretting the ink.
One person wrote: "Okay, but good save."
While another said: "I still love it though!"
Meanwhile, we recently shared the story of one woman who wanted an elegant lion tattoo on her hand but was left less than impressed when her artist botched the design and left the creature looking "rough".
Ally Jayne was told by her tattoo artist that the design would look better once it was finished, but she was still unhappy with it at the end of her appointment - with some people saying it only looks good "if you squint".
One person said: "I mean if you squint ... after like 7 tequila shots I'm sure it looks awesome!," to which Ally then replied: "Close your eyes and go into the next room."
While another added: "Why does the lion look like he's had it rough?"
