A kind-hearted tattoo artist inks up children to help boost their confidence.
Benjamin Lloyd specialises in airbrush tattoos for children, designed to put a smile on his young clients’ faces.
The New Zealand based tattoo artist started in 2016, when he posted an image of an airbrush tattoo he’d given to a friend’s son.
The skull and roses design wowed online users and resembled a real tattoo.
In only a day the photo went viral and garnered a huge 400,000 likes.
In the caption he promised that if he got over 50 likes he would take up his airgun and tattoo kids at a local hospital.

Benjamin smashed his 50 threshold with ease and made good on his promise.
He said that the kids instantly fell in love with their tattoos.
He said: “The kids are so amazed. As soon as they get the tattoo it boosts their confidence.

“The only bad thing is that they don’t want to take a shower afterward.”
It only takes Benjamin around nine minutes to complete one of the realistic tattoos using a mixture of stencils and freehand.
To protect the kids’ health he uses a custom, non-toxic spray on ink that comes off in the shower.
His social media channels are full of excited, freshly-inked children showing off their brand-new tattoos.
From one young boy showing off his new skull-themed upper arm sleeve as he poses in front of a motorcycle to a young girl’s full sleeve tattoo of roses.
