Tates Avenue chaos as car flips on its side

Emergency services had to be called after a car flipped on its side in South Belfast today.

The Fire Service and paramedics rushed to the scene of the crash on Tates Avenue, off the Lisburn Road in the city.

The incident is still causing traffic chaos in the area.

It is understood the car that ended up on its side had emerged from Lorne Street before it made contact with another vehicle.

Sources say the driver of the flipped vehicle did not suffer any serious injuries.
