Two Village restaurants are in the running for a tasty award which sees the country's top eateries battling to be top of the forks.
Popular Italian Zucca has been short listed in the Pizza Restaurant of the Year category while Japanese Oiishi could walk away with Pan Asian Restuarant of the Year at the 2020 Restaurant Awards –Scottish Edition next month.
Following the enormous success of the awards last year, Creative Oceanic have announced this year's finalists.
Oiishi has previously walked away with the best Sushi restaurant award at the Scottish Asian food awards and they also won the best Asian restaurant at the 2019 Spice awards.
This year's black-tie ceremony will take place on April 7, at Glasgow’s Marriott Hotel where the best restaurants will gather for a celebration of the establishments that are considered as the best in Scotland.
Scotland provides a great range of traditional and international dining options, making it a wonderful destination for food lovers.
The awards are set to recognise and celebrate the success of the best restaurants that make it impossible to have a bad gastronomic experience when visiting their establishments.
The event will seek to reward the talent, skill, hard work and determination of those who serve their customers, promote different cuisines and connect the community through food and culture.
