Held to mark the 60th anniversary of Canada-Thai relations, the "Taste Of Canada" brings a variety of premium ingredients food products straight from Canada to the Gourmet Market at Paragon, Emporium, EmQuartier and The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan, until Nov 24.
The selections include some of the freshest premium seafood such as black cod (sablefish), a deep-sea fish known for its sweet meat that is white and soft as snow; and Atlantic salmon cultivated in a farm guaranteed with the Best Aquaculture Practices standards.
Other great offers include boiled, ready-to-eat frozen lobsters with firm and sweet meat, brown crabs, mussels and Canadian mackerel.
This is also a chance to shop for Ambrosia apples, considered a premium apple variety with its pinkish-yellow skin, refreshing crisp texture and sweet taste and smell; maple syrup produced from maple tree's sap; and a variety of confectionaries and exciting products including cookies, crackers, chocolate, shredded wheat, cereal blueberry, quinoa and iceberg water.
Also presented are the "You Hunt We Cook" and "Chef Service" which allow customers to select premium ingredients at the event and bring them for professional consult, or for the gourmand chef to cook into their desired menus to dine right at the counter. The fee starts at 100 baht.
