The line-up has been revealed for this year’s Taskmaster New Year Treat.
As with last year’s special, the one-off shuns comedians for celebrities from the wider public sphere to be put through their paces by Taskmaster Greg Davies and sidekick Alex Horne.
Last year saw John Hannah, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Nicola Coughlan, Rylan Clark-Neal and Shirley Ballas as contestants.

The normal Taskmaster returns next year with Ardal O’Hanlon, Judi Love, Chris Ramsey, Bridget Christie and Sophie Duker.

Who’s in the Taskmaster New Year special line-up?
This year they are: presenters Adrian Chiles, Claudia Winkleman, Paralympian Jonnie Peacock, rapper Lady Leshurr and former Conservative Cabinet Minister Baroness Sayeeda Warsi.
The episode will follow a similar format to the special which was shown on the 1st January 2021.
When does the Taskmaster New Year special air?
Channel 4 has not yet confirmed the broadcast date for the episode, but the episode name suggests it will likely be shown on Channel 4 on one of the first few days of 2022.
However, taskmaster has been commissioned up to at least Series 15. The next series - Series 13 - will be shown in 2022, and as recently announced, will feature O'Hanlon, Christie, Ramsey, Love and Duker.
2022 will also see the broadcast of the Champions Of Champions tasks, featuring the winners of Series 6 to Series 10.
