Tartan Army thug who fell from hotel window admits assaulting London emergency workers

A Scots Tartan Army thug is facing his sentence after admitting assaulting emergency workers after the Scotland vs England clash at Wembley.

He has now admitted the attacks on emergency crews and will be sentenced in September.

Ferris had previously hit the headlines after plunging from his fourth floor of the Corus hotel in Lancaster Gate.

The young dad is understood to have suffered injuries to his hand.

He was part of thousands of Scotland supporters who made the journey south for the Euro 2020 clash in London on June 18.

The vast majority of Scots supporters were praised for their behaviour in the big smoke, with many even taking to the streets the next day to clean up any mess.

Ferris is due to return for sentencing on September 27 and is still on bail.

A spokesman for Southwark Crown Court said: "He has pled guilty to two counts, both are counts of assault on an emergency worker.

"He is returning for sentence on September 27 and is on bail still."
