Taron Egerton's fans joke 'puberty hit him with a truck' as he shares pre-fame snap

Taron Egerton 's fans joked that puberty has "hit him with a truck" after he shared an incredible pre-fame throwback.

The Rocketman star posed up with two pals in 2009 and again in 2019, showing just how much he's grown up in the last 10 years.

The actor, who made his debut in 2011, took to Instagram to share an amazing side-by-side image.

"2009-2019 Hormones have settled at least," he captioned the pic.

In the before picture, the then 19-year-old is a fresh-faced cheeky chap, smiling for the camera on a night out with his mates.

Then 10 years on, the 29-year-old is a huge star who's clearly still in touch with his roots and childhood pals.

One fan said: "puberty hit you with a truck and you didn’t even bother to get out of the way"

"Y’all are aging like fine wines," another wrote.

While another said: "GLOW UP"

And one commented: "Welsh guys are hot! I know where I’m going for my next vacation!"

Perez Hilton even dropped a comment, and couldn't help but point out that the lads are standing in a different order.

He said: "My OCD is driving me crazy. You should have had the same placement in the photo!"

Taron, who played Elton John in his hit biopic, recently spoke of how devastated he was that his gay sex scene with co-star Richard Madden was cut from the film in Russia.

Russian authorities removed several romps from the movie because of the country's ban on 'homosexual propaganda'.

Around five minutes of footage has been cut from the film because of the law, which lawmakers say "protects" children from "non-traditional sexual orientation".

Taron wrote on Instagram: "I am crestfallen that the decision was made to censor our movie for the Russian market.

"I’m even more disappointed to hear about it second-hand today on the day of our domestic release.

"I in no way condone this decision and feel disappointed hat I wasn’t made aware and given the chance to fight [for] this movie.

"Love is love. No compromises."
