Tarff and Twynholm Parish Church Guild’s strawberry tea proved very successful.
Villagers headed along to enjoy delicious scones and other tasty home baking as well as snap up goodies at the sales table.
The afternoon raised £670 for guild funds.
The guild’s Ivy Stanley said: “The amount is quite amazing.
"It was very busy and we had quite a queue at times.”
