Tannadice Park set to go cashless for new football season

Dundee United bosses have announced that Tannadice Stadium will be entirely cashless for the upcoming football season. Thankfully for fans, the news doesn’t refer to transfer dealings but to the introduction of a new card only system on match days.

Bosses said contactless card payments will be available throughout the stadium, providing supporters with a simple and efficient purchase process in all the kiosks, hospitality lounges and bars.

As bosses continue to modernise aspects around the club, it is hoped this latest development will reduce queueing times and ease congestion at the kiosks.

It should also increase speed of service and allow fans greater peace of mind at the point of sale.

Supporters are advised that while cash will no longer be accepted inside Tannadice Park, fans can still purchase match programmes outside the venue using cash.

Both the club’s retail store and ticket centre will also remain with both cash and cashless options available for the time being.
