Tanguy Ndombele has returned to training ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's clash against Chelsea.
The club record signing hasn't featured since the 2-1 defeat away at Manchester United at the beginning of the month, but is in contention to play some part this afternoon.
Overcoming a groin problem is certainly a massive boost for the Lilywhites and Jose Mourinho.
Following last weekend's 2-1 win over Wolves, the north London outfit are primed to spend Christmas in the top four.
They will do so with a victory over the Blues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as their superior goal difference means they would leapfrog Frank Lampard's side in the table.
Speaking about Ndombele during his pre-match press conference at Hotspur Way on Friday afternoon, Mourinho hailed Ndombele as a fantastic talent and outlined where he can improve.
"He's a multi-functional midifeld player," he told football.london ."I'm not telling you the way we are going to play.
"I'm not even telling you that we're not going to change because when you get a more tactical culture and the players work more time with you, you are able to change in this moment.
"Clearly you could feel that in the first two, three four matches I was very careful of trying to get the players into some stability and some dynamic.
"But Tanguy can play as a six, as an eight, as a double. He is a player with a lot of quality, he just needs to be physically strong and mentally adapted to the Premier League.
"The French league is a completely different story, a completely different profile.
"But [he's a] fantastic talent so we are happy that he can help us."
But does this mean Ndombele will feature?
Well, the official Spurs Twitter account might have hinted at involvement for France international some capacity as they uploaded a couple of photos of Ndombele from Friday's training session.
And this has prompted some Spurs fans to respond with their demand of wanting to see the midfielder return to the starting line-up.
