Tanguy Ndombele returns as Giovani Lo Celso handed full debut - Predicted Spurs team vs Everton

Tottenham will be hoping for a change in fortune this weekend as they make the long trip to Merseyside once again.

Losing 2-1 against Liverpool last Sunday as Mohamed Salah converted a 75th minute penalty, Mauricio Pochettino and his team this time take on Everton.

It is a ground that has brought them quite a bit of luck over the past five years since the Argentine has been at the helm, notably the stunning 6-2 win last December.

Everton themselves also need to win at present as they are currently languishing two points above the drop zone, but their dreadful run may continue for another week given that they haven't beaten Spurs since December 2012.

Pochettino definitely has to make one change to his side for the game in L4 as Danny Rose is suspended, while there is the possibility that he could make a couple more alterations as they look to win for the first time in the league since the end of September.

A change could possibly come on the opposite flank as Serge Aurier, who gave away the vital penalty on Sunday, has been extremely erratic in his performances, with Juan Foyth a possible contender to take his place.

Tanguy Ndombele is another player that could come into the team given that he started on the bench and impressed in his second-half cameo.

The manager may also believe the time is right to give Giovani Lo Celso a good run in the starting XI after so far only make five substitute appearances following his loan move from Real Betis.

However, this may all well depend on whether or not Erik Lamela is back to fitness after missing out last weekend through a thigh injury.
