Tanguy Ndombele in pictures: Tottenham unveil club-record transfer signing

Tottenham have unveiled Tanguy Ndombele as Spurs celebrate making their record signing on a busy day for the north London club.

Ndombele, 22, is understood to have joined Spurs from Lyon in a club-record deal which could eventually be worth some £65million.

Spurs said in a statement: "We are delighted to announce the signing of Tanguy Ndombele from Olympique Lyonnais.

"The France international central midfielder has signed a contract with the Club until 2025.

"Ndombele, 22, started his professional career at French side Amiens in Ligue 2, before moving to Olympique Lyonnais on loan in August, 2017, and permanently in the summer of 2018.

"He made 96 appearances in total for the Ligue 1 side and registered 16 assists.

"Having represented France at Under-21 level 10 times, Ndombele made his senior international debut in October, 2018, and has played for his country on six occasions."

Ndombele had not made a single signing since January 2018, but completed two in a day as Ndombele followed confirmation of Jack Clarke's switch from Leeds United.

Clarke, 18, has signed a long-term deal with Spurs, but will spend the 2019-20 season back on loan at Elland Road.
