Tana Mongeau confirms marriage to Jake Paul isn't legal after they wed 'for content'

Tana Mongeau caused huge controversy when she claimed her £400,000 wedding to Jake Paul was just for "content".

And now the YouTuber has admitted that the Las Vegas ceremony wasn't actually legally binding.

The 21-year-old said she didn't want her marriage to Jake, who is Logan Paul's brother, to be official because she thinks it would "take away the love" from the union.

In a new video Tana said: "Any wedding I have, if I have three more f*****g weddings, I really wouldn't want to do it on paper because I think that legally binding yourself to someone takes away the love."

The pair got fake-married last month in a huge bash in Vegas, which was unsurprisingly full of drama.

A brawl broke out within seconds of the couple being pronounced husband and wife.

The couple have only been together since April and many of their followers have doubted whether their relationship is even real.

Tana claims she and Paul have an agreement that their union would be like a " Kim Kardashian 72-day marriage" with no promises that it would last very long.

Speaking on her MTV show, Tana Turns 21, she said: "I think we're all trying to piece together the puzzles of what we actually want this engagement and 'marriage' to be.

"I have a lot of love for him, but it's still something fun and lighthearted that we're obviously doing for fun and for content."

She later claimed that her comments had been taken out of context and insisted their relationship is real.

Tana tweeted: "I filmed those confessionals for the show A LONG TIME AGO! The 'for fun and content' sound bite was from a very long sentence lmao and was a little salty to see it pulled out of context..

"I understand though that MTV has their own creative & that these episodes are airing very late."
