Tamzin Outhwaite has been hailed as a hero after reportedly saving three children from drowning at a birthday pool party.
The 50-year-old former EastEnders actress is said to have jumped into the water fully clothed after three under-tens found themselves in difficulties.
It has been reported that as parents and children were screaming at the poolside, Tamzin wasted no time in diving in to save the day.
A witness has told The Sun that Tamzin, who played Melanie Healy in the BBC soap, jumped "into the water without hesitation" in a "dramatic" rescue.
The witness added that she "plucked the youngest child to safety," before she got the other two youngsters.

Such was the reaction of the actress, the witness claimed that she had saved the children before anyone else had even began responding.
The good news was that there were a couple of doctors among the partygoers and they were able to check over the children to ensure they were okay.
The witness said that the incident "left many people shaken."
There were a lot of appreciative parents at the party, held in North London, and Tamzin received plenty of congratulations for her selfless heroic deed.
The actress, who has two daughters from her marriage to Miranda star Tom Ellis - Flora, 12, and eight-year-old Marnie, was called a "true legend" for her actions and "didn’t want a fuss" after her rescue.
That drama is a far cry from Tamzin's current pet project, an Instagram account for her new hound Bowie.

The bio for the new pup reads: "Hello. I am Bowie. I am boy dog. My sister dog is @piptheminidog. Have good day."
Tamzin shared her dogs's new account on her own, writing: "Baby boy is sooo peaceful @bowietheminidog."
She then shared some heartwarming videos of Bowie fast asleep, zooming in on her furry friend.
Snaps show Bowie posing with deodorant, a retro radio and WD-40, with the caption for that snap reading: "This sounds scary when pressed...."
